I absolutely hate people who use other people. One person in particular I just can't yell at enough to see it.
We had a roommate who was living with us. He was told to get a job so he can afford his part of the rent. He showed absolutely no motivation in finding a job. He ended up making like a third of his rent for one month. We sat him down, said he needed to get the money or he would be kicked out. Regardless, he was kicked out.
His girlfriend still thinks that he loves he. She doesn't understand that to prove to her he loved her he should have grown up, got a job and paid bills. Well he now lives with his mother and still doesn't have a job, a license or a car. And I am not talking about a teenager, this kid is 22.
So the girlfriend is all "he loves me" and constantly I need to stop myself from blurting out "no he f**king doesn't!" He refused to get a job for her and help to pay bills. He refused to clean up around the house. He refused to get off his butt and go look for a job. He refused to do anything and just sat around the apartment, eating our food.
So this stupid kid is out of our apartment but my roommate still believes she loves him. Every time I try to have a conversation with her about how he is immature and needs to grow up it ends up in a fight. So I give up. The thing that pisses me off though is that she is my best friend. I don't want to loose my best friend because her boyfriend is an immature jerk.
We are going to move again in a few months and I have been constantly debating whether or not I want her to continue being our roommate. I think her own immaturity outweighs his and I can't see myself living another year without being angry with her.
I'm frustrated. Someone make me feel better?
