Apologies.

I have a few ideas of how to do some new books.

I have been wanting to get started but have been so extremely busy!
I just bought a new house. Moved all our junk. Got a new car. Getting a second dog soon. Whew!

So I do apologize for the lateness. I will promise to be better.

stress

SO! Our offer was accepted, had the house inspection today. Buying a house is so freaking stressful. Two main problems with the inspection were foundation and electrical. The foundation had a couple cracks. Electrical didn't have any.... plugs.... ground.

That is going to be the most expensive cost but we are hoping that the sellers are going to cover it. I hope!

So been supah stressed. Working on writing but I keep getting distracted. Started on a new site to help with my writing. iwakuroleplay.com CHECK IT OUT!

So yeah, quick update.

ouch!

Man, I am getting horrible at this blog thing.
I promise to be better.

Due to work, I work on concrete floors with no insulation, I have developed Plantar Fascitis in both feet. It's a pain. I am going to physical therapy for it which is a pain too. They have found out that my calves are super dooper tight. So I have to do these stretches everyday and ow. Every time I do them it hurts.

That and my friend and I got massages the other day. Damn it was amazing! If you are in the New Hampshire are and need a good massage place, hit me up. It was super scary at first, I had never been. Essentially you should be pretty naked when you do it and when I found out that it was a guy who was going to give my massage I freaked a little.

He was totally professional though and I appreciated it. He did amazing and all of these little bits and pieces of my back and legs that I didn't know hurt, hurt. They hurt now because he did trigger point massage. This means he worked out all the little knots pretty much. I am a little sore today but was told it will go away. Since this was my first my body, muscles even, weren't ready for this kind of pressure and treatment.

I am so much more relaxed besides the pain. And it only hurts when I touch it. My feet even have been better. They are usually killing me and for two days now after the massage they have been tolerable. Amazing!

I also got a haircut, so I suppose I will give you all a pic of that. It is super short. I didn't want it that short but oh well. I am slowly coming to terms with it.

What'dya think?

the used

Ahhhh!
Been so stressed lately. Why didn't anyone tell me that buying a house is a pain in the ass?

Between packing, in the process of buying a house and work I haven't had much time to do anything else.

Lauren Mechelle and I have been working on book no. 4 of the Timeless Series! Super stoked about that. I have been working on book no. 2 of The Tainted, but it is progressing slower.

A new bookstore opened in town and they have a feature of local authors. Hopefully I can talk to them and get my book in there. I would need to get a few copies though, as most of it is online.

I also decided that I need to open my book sources. I now have three zombie books in the process, a wolf one and a vampire one. I am debating looking through other supernatural phenomenons, now I just need to figure out what!

So hopefully I can get more writing in and stop being so busy and stressed!

Oh, and my favorite band, The Used, just came out with a new album and I am even more in love than the other albums.

life - a poem

I don't do poetry much but somethings inspired this one.

falling
crumbling
through space and time.
quietly
crawling
through an eternal abyss.
sensing
seeing
miracles waiting to be happened.
calling
yelling
to those who need it most.
anger
emotions
consuming slowly.
sadness
frustration
escaping quietly.

opinions

opinions make or break us.

my opinions are not like most. they are my own and they are not based on many world problems. I do not care about politics, I do not know enough about them to have an intelligent conversation about them. I do not care about presidential elections, town meetings or land disputes.

I have opinions about family, how they work, how dynamics work and how children act toward their parents.

Background about me. I was adopted, shit happened, whatever. I am not afraid to fight with my mother, maybe because I have an ego, maybe cause I am a bitch. I don't know many other people who fight with their mothers the way I do.

I am not afraid to tell her that something she wants to do is wrong or bad for her. I am not afraid to tell her that my life is going to change if she does something. I am also not afraid to tell her 'it's not my problem'.

Other people are. Again, it may be because I am a bitch, not sure. It just irritates me when things happen in families and I have an opinion but my opinion doesn't matter. So whatever, blogging on here instead.

RAWR. End of rant. xD

Other than that NH is FINALLY warming up! It is like 45 degrees, which sounds fricken cold, but it NH that is amazingly warm. Like light sweatshirt weather.

=]

Sooooo nice. I will try to contain my ranting and get back to my writing, since i just started a new story. I probably shouldn't have but oh well, I have like four other ones that need to be finished.

So ta-ta-for-now,
Clementine.

Animals

Here is another blog with everyday life at the house:

Got our sweet new plates! Woo! Dr Who Fan <3

Ash in her cute outfit

My babygirl with her bully stick

Meeko, king of the house.

Sleepy girl.

Sorry again for the lack of posts. Who knew buying a house was so stressful? Hopefully today will bring good news and I can start up on writing.

I did just start one but it is... I don't know how I feel about it just yet. It kind of starts out like another book I wrote but I will roll with it and see.

television

So I have been going through a lot lately, sorry for the lack of posts and blogs.

My husband and I are trying to get a house but that's a pain in the ass and so full of stress.

My job is killing me, literally, so done with it.

And I just finished fighting an ear infection.

This blog will just be random ramblings about my favorite tv shows.

Currently I am watching:
Mysteries at the Museum, Ink Master, Ax Men, Walking Dead, Face off and soon Jim Henson's Creature Shop

I just finished:
Opposite Worlds and King of the Nerds.

Now, this sounds like I have a lot of time but I totally don't. I am lucky if I get one tv show a day.

So Walking Dead is killing me. The last episode made me want to cry. I knew I hated that stupid little girl.

Ax Men is a bunch of grown men acting like little bitches and fighting all the time, although it is hilarious.

Ink Master has been dramatic this year! One chick just ran off, like what the hell!

Ugh!

So yeah, today I am just dying. I feel like crap, I forgot a bunch of homework and I just want to crawl into bed and sleep for like the next year. But I can't.

That is my rant. Sorry about not 'blogging' more. Hopefully this whole stress situation will go away soon.

birthday

Holy crap. My birthday is Sunday. It doesn't even feel like it. I am too old for another birthday.

So we are going to the Aquarium which I am pretty excited about. I haven't been to one in forever. I live up in the middle of nowhere so we don't have much. We have to drive 1.5 hours just to get to the aquarium.

I wicked need to start writing again. I have been wicked lazy. That and work has been sucking me in lately, having me work more and more which sucks.

I think that I might do what I always do and start doing random works of writing. Usually I just begin writing random things and one of them is good.

I have recently been writing about zombies, immortals and romance. I need to get my butt in gear and start writing like non stop but that's okay.

So yeah, just a stupid little blog.

Cars

I have been screwed over more times than you can count by mechanics. This has caused me to find out how to do stuff myself. So today we fixed a hole in the muffler and did the front brakes on my friends car.

The car we worked on is old and had a lot of rust so we ran into problems there. We ended up doing the brakes and that was all well and good so I took it for a test drive. Then the wheel decided to act funny so we had to fix that.

Finally we got that all fixed so we took it for a drive on the highway. I pulled over to check on it because I wasn't sure if it was still doing good. So we stopped the car and the drivers wheel was smoking.

Goddamn! I was so pissed. The caliper seized and it was like 9pm so nothing was open. So the tow truck just came cause I can't drive it, I mean the stupid caliper was seized. I thought the calipers were rusty but was like "Eh, it's fine."

So I am exhausted, cold (Cause it is only like 20 degrees here) and in need of a bottle of wine.

-Sincerely a very tired, aggravated Clementine.

Pet

You know what grinds my gears?

Apartments, townhouses etc that don't accept pets. Most people take care of their pets, that is why they have pets. Most people don't get pets unless they can take care of them.

It is so frustrating to look for places that are pet friendly, especially when buying a house isn't an option. I mean, I am young, I don't know where I want to settle yet so no, I am not going to buy a house until I know that is where I want to be.

Can someone just send me a million bucks so I can buy a house?

I mean who can say NO to the following:

People are stupid. /End Rant.

Writings and Ramblings

I start a bunch of writings and never seem to finish them. Some I have published but others I haven't. These ones are from Deviant Art. I figure the best way of letting people see my work is to show what I got!
So on this dreary, wintry day in good ol' New Hampshire, I give to you

CET: Cyborg Eradication Team

Prologue:
The rustling tore me from my sleep. I grabbed the gun nestled safely in my nightstand. I slid from the bed soundlessly. The upgrade made it possible to see at night. I was thankful for it as I creaked open the door that let to my bedroom. I whipped around the corner as I heard another crash. I crept through the small hallway, trying to pinpoint the attackers location.I felt something brush past my leg and faced my gun toward it. It was my cat, looking up at me before running to the bedroom. I turned back around and saw a masked figure in front of me. I opened my mouth to scream but their hand caught it. Whoever they were strong enough to pick me up despite my flailing. Screams escaped my throat and a raw feeling settled in. They pulled the gun from my hand right as my fist connected with their throat. I fell to the ground and shuffled around, searching for the gun. The masked person, who I now knew was a man due to the Adam's apple I had connected with, reached for me. His weight fell on top of me, making me inches away from the gun. My hand connected with his forehead and knocked his body off just enough for me to reach my gun. He got up, stumbling back a few steps as I pointed the gun at him.Three shots. Three bullets. All of which connected to his chest. I watched as the life left his eyes. His body fell to the ground. I got up and walked over to him, pressing my fingers against his neck for a pulse. I stood back up and watched as the blood pooled around his body.Exercise Terminated. Exercise Terminated.I looked up as the loud bells rag out, burning through my ears. The walls of my apartment began to shake and whistle. They fell to the side and the light consumed me. I covered my eyes and when they finally adjusted I saw Joe."Joe, you son of a bitch. Testing me when I am asleep? You even brought my cat!" I screamed as I walked toward the man. Joe was a stout man, always dressed in a suit and tie. His black hair barely covered his head anymore. His eyes were covered by his large glasses."Oh don't be like that! I wanted to see if the upgrades were working." He walked over to me. I threw the gun down in front of him, anger boiling in my veins. He walked up to me, pulling me into a hug briefly. "Stop fighting. Your training is done, Cas." I looked up at him with a vengeful look before walking back to the remains of my fake house. I snatched up Shay and she began purring instantly. She stepped outside in the bitter cold, wearing tight shorts and a tank top."Bloody Joe." I grumbled. I spotted a black motorcycle parked in front of the warehouse. "Aw Joe, you remembered my bike. The only thing good you did." "Don't be like this, Cas." His soft voice whispered in my ear. Damn it, he even put an ear piece in. "I'm fine. I just need sleep like every other being." His sigh felt like he as next to me but no more noise came from the ear piece. I hopped on the bike, Shay under my arm, and headed for my apartment.
Chapter One:The Warehouse.
The place you didn't want to be but unfortunately was where all of the training was done. My name is long and boring, but most people called me Cas. I am what most people would call a cyborg although I hate that name. I was not born this way but rather happened to be this because of an accident. I had cracked my head open and my brains got so scrambled I was blind. They had thought of many different ideas but the only ones that seemed to make any sense was to test the connection between machines and humans. I had taken to the procedure so well instead of letting my wrist heal they rebuilt it with metal. Cyborg. I hated that word. I hated when people called me that. I preferred digitally enhanced. I was part of a team that made sure other cyborgs were working correctly. We were an eradication team, if that makes better sense. We were specialized to fight any type of cyborg that got in the way.The morning called to me, the sun slowly reaching up into the sky. I rolled off the side of the bed and rubbed my face. Sleep had not been kind to me, let alone what Joe pulled. I got up, showered and pulled on my plain black jumpsuit that unfortunately hugged my body. I poured some cat food into Shay's bowl and grabbed my protein shake.Outside I jumped onto my bike and left for the warehouse. The warehouse, where we all trained but lacked actual motivation to be at. My team was made up of a technical expert, two cyborgs, our fearless leader, a programer and someone who fixed cyborgs for a hobby. I turned to bike into the parking garage. I stepped off of it, seeing Kyle, the other cyborg."Cas! I hear Joe called you in for late night work?" He laughed as he walked over to me. Joe had half of his body turned into a machine. His left leg, arm and ribs were all metal. "Well yeah, don't even get me started. He pulled the 'I want to test out your upgrade' bullshit again." Kyle laughed and nodded."Come on, let's get to work." Kyle was taller than me, mostly because of his metal work. He had short black hair and green eyes. He was quite bulky, his shoulder quite spread apart. I followed him down the hallway and scanned my badge. The door began to open, slowly and loudly. Inside the area opened up beneath them. A large circle sat in the middle of the floor, a sphere covering it. I watched as someone training turned around and caught the probe in the stomach."Man, she has been in there for quite some time." Kyle laughed and walked over to where a desk was set up. He picked up the clipboard and flipped through some papers. "You and I are on a double today, teaming up against Neo's newest." He made a face before laughing."Hey, slackers. Get suited up." I heard. I turned around and made eye contact with our leader. May gave me a stern look back. "Hurry up I say!" May had been our leader for too long. She was one of the bravest women I knew. She had short blonde hair and pale blue eyes, she was built like a man though, more muscles than any of us and she was damn strong too."Yes, Ma'am. Neo here yet?" I asked. She nodded and pointed. I followed her hand and smiled when I saw him. Neo was a small nerd, scrawny with glasses that he always pushed further up his nose."Cas! Kyle! I got a good one for you." He laughed as he ran over. "This one is programmed to know who you are, know your specialties. Think on your feet but don't do what you usually do, it has your habits programmed." His eyes flashed."Well gee, thanks Neo. Get it in the program." I grumbled. Kyle was already suited up. I pulled the black jacket over my jumpsuit and slid on my big boots. I looked over at Kyle who put the light blue sunglasses on, I closed my eyes and when I reopened them they were programmed, small numbers and equations crossing my normal vision. I slid the two guns on my hips and the knife in my boot."Ready!" I called. Neo gave me a look as Kyle and I stepped into the sphere. The second I stepped in the scenery changed. It was almost like we were transported somewhere else. Our mind would think we were running but our bodies would stay in one place. I turned to Kyle and nodded."Start Exercise." I commanded the computer and it began to make a loud whirring noise.

Three more sections. Shall I put them up or is this just gibberish? Let me know!

What is a writer?

Hello there readers!

I haven't posted much in a few days so I figured I would talk about my books. So I have spoke about The Timeless series and Rex which is in the Tainted series. No I did not mean for the series both to start with T, haha.

The books I am currently working on include:
Zombeez, Chloe: The Tainted - Book 2, Renor, Apocalypse.

Zombeez I am the furthest in, admittedly. It is obviously about zombeez! There is such a high demand for zombee books and I love playing on how to write words so instead of "zombie" it is written zombee the whole time.

Zombeez my friend Lauren Mechelle and I originally thought up the plot for. We somehow talked about what we would do if the apocalypse happened and this book is a product of that.

Chloe is the second book in the Tainted. For those who have read the first, Rex, you met Chloe. It continues on from the first book but is about her instead of Anya.

Renor is about an Angel who is in love with a human.

And Apocalypse is another zombie book.

I tend to do better writing on a bunch of books at one time rather than focusing on one. It helps me to bounce around more ideas.

Anyone who is interesting in doing a joint book with me, let me know. Lauren and I have done quite a few together and I find it so fun.

So here are some cute pictures of my puppy dog, cause come on, she is so damn cute!

Lovey Dovey Day

Oh Valentines Day. How I despise thee. I am a happily married woman but the whole idea of Valentines day just seems stupid to me. It is probably because I am in retail and everything is way overdone. Or it might be the fact that I always have to work on it so there is no point in me celebrating it.

BUT it means I can share a bit of my book, Rex with you because that is a steamy, lovey dovey valentines-esque day book.

I have talked about Rex earlier and there has been quite an improvement in my downloads. It is now up to 300. Woo! That means 300+ people have read my book. Exciting! It does have some pretty intense scenes that probably aren't appropriate to put on this blog because of age restrictions and whatnot so I will post one that isn't too sexy. If too sexy is even a thing.

Now Rex is about a woman who has lost her husband. Years later she still can't quite get into a relationship. She relapses the death of her husband and brings unnecessary drama. She ends up finding Rex, a tattoo artist, and they immediately hit it off. But Rex has some secrets she doesn't know about. When she finds out these secrets, will she still be in love with him?

My hands roamed across his chest and under his shirt, pulling it up and off of him. It fell lightly to the ground and I caught his eyes looking at me. They were stormy, gray and blue clouding together. My body was full of shivers and want. I wanted him to touch me, to please me and to never stop. I could see his muscles beneath his sheer skin. I touched his chest, tracing the tattoos that surrounded it. There was a heart broken in two with vines coming from the center. A skull next to that with roses around the base. A word in elegant cursive much like my own, but it was in a different language so I couldn’t figure out what it was. There were stars and tribal looking shapes covering the top left of his chest and onto his arm. A large ship was spread across his other arm. The waves seemed life like, wind in the sails of the ship and a cannon on the side. An elaborate masquerade mask spread the space in between the two other large tattoos on his chest. The mask had one eyeball colored black and the rest had a intricate design surrounding it.
He had stopped kissing me and looked down at my fragile hands on his tattoos. “What is your favorite?” He asked me in a hoarse voice. I looked up at him and back at his tattoos. I traced my fingers around the snarls of colors. Vivid purples, dark stormy blues and neon greens filled the once pale chest. My brows knotted and then I stopped on the ship. “That was my first tattoo. I just had it touched up which is why it is so colorful now.”
“Why did you get it?” I asked quietly. It was so elegant and detailed. From each small line in the mast to each sail made it look so lifelike.
“For my father. He was in the Navy.” I smiled up and him and he leaned down slowly. “Each tattoo has a meaning.” He whispered against my lips before kissing me again. He pulled me up into his arms and we made our way to his bed once again.

Oh, I love Rex. He is just amazing haha. Don't forget, you can get the full copy of my book here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/400455
Please make sure to leave reviews and send it to your friends! Who can go wrong with this steamy, lovey dovey book on Valentines day? I mean come on!
& Happy Valentines Day to my readers. To those who think it is a holiday. Hope you all have a wonderful night.

Gwendolyn Tidbit

I decided to post a tidbit of Baroness Gwendolyn Athena Rose which is available on Amazon or Kindle.

(Disclaimer: This bit of work was created by me, everything is fictional, anything taken from this without my consent is plagiarism.)

She was falling once more, blackness engulfing her. She landed in water, treading it until her legs burned. She let out a scream when she saw a sailing ship. The big white sails came into view and she was hauled aboard. Gasping and coughing she realized she was in a large, wet gown. It had been weighing her down and therefore making the swim tough. She finally caught her breath and looked up to see an entire crew staring at her. She stood up and looked at the captain.“Been too long Ryl. I thought you had this figured out. You weren’t supposed to send Axel to me. You were supposed to get rid of him.” Her voice was rough.“I am sorry my Queen. I didn’t mean to screw up that bad. What can we do to fix this?” She walked up to him and got close to his face.“You have done enough to mess this up. I must fix it myself.” She turned around and looked at the crew that now surrounded her. “Back to work you worthless horde!” They shuffled away and she pushed her way into the captain’s quarters. She slumped down on the bed and whipped her head when Ryl walked in. He kneeled down next to her and took her hand in his, kissing it softly.“I am sorry, my Queen.” She sighed and took her hand away.“You have failed me. I do not know what to do. We are supposed to rule this land together. You had one simple task, get rid of Axel.” He bowed his head and dismissed himself from the room. The ship rocked side to side and she fell backward on the bed. Everything was going wrong.Gwendolyn’s eyes opened and she jumped from her position.

Well? What do you think!

Users

I absolutely hate people who use other people. One person in particular I just can't yell at enough to see it.

We had a roommate who was living with us. He was told to get a job so he can afford his part of the rent. He showed absolutely no motivation in finding a job. He ended up making like a third of his rent for one month. We sat him down, said he needed to get the money or he would be kicked out. Regardless, he was kicked out.

His girlfriend still thinks that he loves he. She doesn't understand that to prove to her he loved her he should have grown up, got a job and paid bills. Well he now lives with his mother and still doesn't have a job, a license or a car. And I am not talking about a teenager, this kid is 22.

So the girlfriend is all "he loves me" and constantly I need to stop myself from blurting out "no he f**king doesn't!" He refused to get a job for her and help to pay bills. He refused to clean up around the house. He refused to get off his butt and go look for a job. He refused to do anything and just sat around the apartment, eating our food.

So this stupid kid is out of our apartment but my roommate still believes she loves him. Every time I try to have a conversation with her about how he is immature and needs to grow up it ends up in a fight. So I give up. The thing that pisses me off though is that she is my best friend. I don't want to loose my best friend because her boyfriend is an immature jerk.

We are going to move again in a few months and I have been constantly debating whether or not I want her to continue being our roommate. I think her own immaturity outweighs his and I can't see myself living another year without being angry with her.

I'm frustrated. Someone make me feel better?

Retail Rant

I work in a large retail facility. Retail literally is a killer. I have been at this retail establishment for 4 years and constantly fight with the managers over hours and wages.

It is an ongoing problem but that is not what this rant is about.

This rant is about the fact that nobody seems to care that I work in retail. For example, we were supposed to have a family get together with my husband's family. I work every weekend, guaranteed. That is retail, you don't get weekends off you get weekdays off.

So they scheduled this dinner for a Saturday because my father in law and sister in law have that day off. What I find completely inconsiderate is the fact that every time we schedule something it is when they have the day off. It doesn't matter what day I have off. That and the fact that I always get yelled at for not getting that day off.

In retail you get a certain amount of 'personal days' in which you can use whenever. You also get a limited amount of 'vacation time' but that only lasts a year where personal days build up. Because I have had to use my personal days on 'family get together' days that I barely have any time left.

So the fact that I don't get the day off makes them mad at me. If I try to find a different day to do it they all give me excuses. Why am I always the one who gets the sh*t stick? Why am I always the one who gets kicked while I am down?

That and asking for a day off isn't a breeze. I have three managers to go through AND I have to put it into a computer. I have to 'apply' for days off, talk with all the managers to make sure there is accurate coverage and then maybe I get it off. It is a process of days, you don't get approved until usually a week later.

So this is my rant. I'm sick and tired of being the one everyone is mad at. If you expect me there, don't. If you expect me to take a day off when you aren't willing to, don't. I am done. I am frustrated and beyond stressed.

Ol' NH

This is going to be mostly a picture blog today. While writing a rather boring research essay is occupying most of my time, I need a break.

For those who have never been to New Hampshire or would like to see what it looks like, I figured I would put up some pictures. It really is a rather beautiful place. Another thing that I absolutely love to do is take pictures. Below are some and there is a link at the bottom for more pictures. Enjoy!

Ocean not far from my house. Wonderful place to go swimming, even if it's salty.
Lots of trees, grass and rocks in NH.
We loooove our farming equipment.
For more pictures of NH and my cute animals, check out my Deviant Art Page!

Who is she?

So this blog post is going to be more about me, my life. I know that most authors say "Oh hi, I'm blah de blah, all I do is write" so I wanted to let you in on my life.

So I live in glorious New Hampshire! I live in the capital, Concord. Below is a picture of the ocean, Hampton Beach that MANY New Hampshirens go to.The picture is also a picture of my husband and I when we got married.

So, I live in New Hampshire, have a wonderful family full of a dog, Bella, a cat, Meeko, three leopard geckos and a bearded dragon.
Bella Louise I have had for what seems like forever. We rescued her. Meeko is my little monster. We actually have his mother and she got pregnant so we kept him.

I am a huge animal person and have grown up around animals my whole life. We had chickens and goats growing up, but I suppose that is what happens when you live in NH. We are a farm oriented state.

So that's my family. Currently my husband and I are hoping to expand our family this year but it all depends. I spend way too much time writing and I should probably attempt to do other things but meh. I do work a day job, which sucks because I would love to devote myself to writing.

But yeah. I feel like I like to know authors more than just what their little bio says. If you have questions let me know. But here is a picture of me for those who don't think just one picture can show you who a person is.

Thanks for reading!

Freezing my buns off

This is one of those random posts where I complain and/or rant.

Today my rant is about how damn cold it is! For those who don't know I live in New Hampshire. New Hampshire is up by Vermont, Maine and New York. You wouldn't believe how many people ask me where it is.

Lately it has been like 2 degrees, 5 degrees, -10 degrees. It's been freezing! Unfortunately for me when I am freezing it hinders my ability to write. I don't think I have written anything new in days.

The upside to this is that it allows me to devote myself to promoting my newest book, Rex. For those who haven't gotten their FREE copy yet please refer to the link in the blog before this as I am too lazy to look up the link.

Rex is a "smutty romance" as I have heard them been called. It is a lusty story that keeps you questioning what is real and what isn't.

Currently it is up to 207 downloads. That means 207 people attempted to read my book! I say attempted because nobody has left any reviews yet. So I, as a writer, am taking it that nobody actually finished it. Which would be a shame because I think the ending is the best.

So if any of you do click on the link in the previous blog... Actually you can probably just go to smashwords.com and look it up by my name, Clementine Elin. That sounds a little better.

SO if any of you do click on the link (Or do it the other way) and download, please leave some feedback. If it is nasty feedback and you totally hated the book then message me on twitter. @becks_babe303

If it is GOOD feedback though, feel free to put it up on smashwords or tweet me something! Hearing positive things are always an amazing feeling.

Rex

So today I released Rex! My steamy, lusty romance novella. I published it on Kindle and also found out about an amazing site called Smash Words. This website made it possible to promote my book to a whole plethora of other audiences.

So to get the free download please click the link below. I shall give you a little tidbit of it!

Anya is in her thirties, retail manager and not really going anywhere in life. She has been through a very tough life though. Her husband died of a drunk driver swerving into his car. She has been devestated form this and hasn't been able to fully commit to a relationship. Until Rex.

Rex is a rebel tattoo artist who is very to himself and loves to be a loner. When he meets Anya he completely breaks all of his rules. He brings her to his house and invites her back for dinner the next night.

They can't keep themselves off each other. Lusty scenes and romantic kisses fill a majority of the book.

But eventually Anya finds a few secrets about Rex that he has refused to tell her. She slowly learns more about his ways and why he keeps to himself so much. Through this she herself opens up about her life and wonders if she could see herself in the future with a man like Rex.

If this sounds interesting please be my guest on clicking the link below and downloading a free, yes FREE, copy of the book. Please leave a review if you like it or a comment on here. Thank you very much!

Books

Why hello there readers, if there even are any. This blog post shall be about my book that is already published and the next one coming out.

The one that I have self published is entitled Baroness Gwendolyn Athena Rose. This book I co-wrote with author Lauren Mechelle. This book we blew through and then let sit for a while. We are currently working on the fourth installment of the series, Timeless.

For those of you who don't know what the book is about I shall explain. Gwendolyn lives in a steampunk world where gears sprawl across buildings and the smell of oil fills the air. Prince Axel lives in the medieval times where toilets aren't even invented yet. Some freak accident propels Axel to the future, landing him near Gwendolyn. There is a problem though and Gwendolyn must nurse him back to a healthy status.

Through this they find out that their paths didn't cross by accident and a new evil has been awakened. Together they must defeat said evil and create a place where bad magick doesn't exist. Can they do this though? And what does their relationship say about later on?

The second book that should be released this month is one I wrote in my spare time. It is a steamy romance novel about a woman who lost her husband and hasn't been able to find love since. She meets a tattoo artist and they fall madly in love. Little does she know the secrets he holds and certain secrets about his true identity.

This book is entitled Rex and hopefully once I figure a cover out will be released on Kindle for free. That's right, free. This will give all you lovely readers a chance to see my writing and hopefully up my sales on Baroness Gwendolyn Athena Rose!

Winter Driving in New England

Driving in New England during winter.
Many people do not possess this skill surprisingly. Lucky for you readers I do.

New England, New Hampshire in particular, experiences quite a bit of snow. (Snow: Water that turns into a semi solid and creates white, puffy flakes) We normally get a few big storms and a lot of little ones. The big ones are the ones that you need to watch out for.

Normally our weather people can tell you when we are to get snow but now how much. Today, for example, was supposed to be 3-4 inches and we are way past that.

So the first things you need to know about driving in snow are the basics. You should:
Know the basics of your car (demensions)
Know when you are in control and when you are not
Realize that while basic speed limits and lights are necessary, sometimes they can be avoided

The biggest thing to learn is that the turtle wins the race. Running (Or driving quickly) ends up in more accidents. So the first rule:

Clean off your car
In the state of New Hampshire you can actually get stopped for not cleaning off your car. You must clean the debris from the top, windshield, windows, lights and back windshield. This not only is for your protection but the protection of other drivers. When you pull out from a stop sign or lights gravity pulls back on the snow on top of your car, thus throwing it behind you. If the snow on top of your car had turned to ice the day before it could literally smash the windshield of someone behind you.

Slow wins the race
Most people assume the bigger the car or the cars with 4 wheel drive are better. This is totally not true. It depends on how you drive not so much the car. It is easier to drive with a heavier car or if you are in the country with poorly plowed roads to have 4 wheel drive but for basic driving the car doesn't matter.
Driving in snow is all based on physics. A car in motion will stay in motion and a car stopped sometimes won't start. You want to keep your foot on the pedal, even if it is scary. This doesn't mean however to go super fast. Going fast WILL make sure that you slide easier and could potentially get into an accident. You also want to make sure not to use your brake too much. Hitting the brakes locks your tires and causes you to loose traction. If you want to slow down let off the gas a little.

Speed Limits, Lights, Stop signs
While these things are very important in winter sometimes you have to do bad things. If you are driving and you see a red light ahead of you and normally it would be a fast stop, don't try and stop. Keep on going at a slow pace because if you try and stop there is a better chance you will slip and potentially get stuck in the middle of the intersection. Once in the middle it is harder to get going because that is where the most slush builds up. (Slush: A mixture of melted snow and solid snow creating a slippery, slushy mix)
While speeding is enforced, going slow is not. Normally on the highway the lowest speed limit is 45mph. When it is snowing out you can pretty much go as slow as you want as long as there is another lane of traffic for people to pass you if they wish. Now there are a lot of rabbits out there that think they can rush through traffic but you don't want to do that.
Stop signs work pretty much like the speed limit. Normally you should stop at every stop sign but that is also where a lot of slush ends up. If you can see both ways and can check before you pull out that is usually acceptable. It is hard to get stuck in slush and then try to go again, your tires usually just spin because there is no traction.

What happens if I get stuck?
This is the biggest one! Many people do slide or get stuck, it happens sometimes. The best thing to realize is that slamming on your gas does nothing. If anything it just gets you more stuck. If you do get stuck for some reason, take a deep breath. Do not start to stress about it or you will get all worked up. If you are stuck at home you need to get some kitty litter or sand and put it behind your tires. This should give you enough traction to get out of the spot.
If you are stuck on a road you need to 'rock the car'. This consists of NOT slamming on your gas, but rather slowly stepping on it. To rock the car you put it in drive, try to go a little and then put it in reverse. This rocks the car forward and backward and usually smushes the snow and slush away from your tires. Once you get traction, slowly apply the gas and don't let go until you get out of the spot.
If you move a little and get stuck again either try moving your wheel so that your tires are in a different position or rock the car again. Even if you have 4 wheel drive, the chance of getting even more stuck by slamming on the gas is huge. 4 wheel drive is not what many people think it is. It is not to give you incredible traction and make you immortal. 4 wheel drive combines the good things in front wheel drive and rear wheel drive. It is strictly to help you utilize all four tires at once.

So hopefully this blog helps people out. If not that is fine, but I hate people who don't know how to drive in winter. If you are planning on visiting New England anytime soon please come in summer. It is much more desirable.

If anyone has questions on driving in winter, do let me know.

Being a writer

Every since I was young I knew that I wanted to be a writer. I absolutely loved playing around with words and fitting together too many adjectives in a sentence. I would like to think I am better at that now but who knows.
So I, Clementine Elin, have just released my first book. I self published through CreateSpace. It is titled Baroness Gwendolyn Athena Rose. I wrote this book with my good friend and fellow author Lauren Mechelle. We do have other works together but I also have works of my own that I will hopefully be releasing one day.
Clementine is my pen name and I fell in love with it the first time that I ever saw it. I used it when I was doing RP's and other works and it just kind of stuck. I think that unique names are amazing and I tend to use them in my works.
I am young, only a mere 23 in a couple months. I work full time in retail (ugh) but am hoping one day to be able to devote myself to being an author. I currently have three books finished, two in progress and four in the beginning stages. I enjoy writing with other authors. I think that it helps to get the creative juices flowing.
I love a lot of things that are way too much to explain on here. Hopefully this blog will be able to help my book as that is what I am hoping. I will probably update this once a week. I am hoping to show my lower word count stories so that people can get an idea of other works I do.
The book released, which is part of the series Timeless, is a young adult romance book. I also dabble in fantasy, adult romance, science fiction and am learning about historical fiction. I enjoy reading books and I think that reading is a key resource in writing.
So yeah, hopefully this wasn't completely boring but showed a bit of my personality.

Thanks for reading!
Clementine Elin.
